The Annual "Spring Migration Festival" held in Yackandandah the first weekend inSpring.

This year's dates are Friday 3rd September to Sunday 5th September, 2010

In 2005 Spring Migration was nominated for a rainbow award as "best new community event".
and 2006 was nominated for a rainbow award as "the most friendly party outside Melbourne".

Spring Migration has been nominated for two awards one with Tourism Victoria and the other
the Victorian Rural Achievement Awards.

In 2008 and 2009 Spring Migration was presented with A Certificate of Achievement
from the Victoria Rural Achievement Awards.

Our next event will be our sixth festival which each year has been getting bigger and bigger.

2007 saw approximately 2000 people visit for our Sunday market alone.
2008 saw in excess of 2500 people at our Sunday Market.
2009 had around 400 attend the Nicholas hotel Beechworth on Friday, 400 people attend Zed Bar in Albury
in excess of 400 at La Trobe at Beechworth and a large crowd at Falls Creek Snowfields
along with a huge crowd at the Sunday Market in Yackandandah

As a result our festival - goers are looking for more and more things to do and more places to visit and stay in and around
the Greater North East Region.
(Not only during the festival but before and after the event)

The festival is funded by ourselves (Andy Stevens & Gary Hayward along with our Sponsors).

Our websites reach a niche market and also the wider general public, and our sites have been visited many thousands of times,
check for yourself and see.

We are highly ranked in all the major search engines and these rankings are updated on a weekly basis.

What we are writing about is the possibility of your Business being an official sponsor for the Spring Migration Festival
which will assist Festival Funding and draw visitors to your business.

Gregory Hywood (Chief Executive) of Tourism Victoria has supported Spring Migration in an open letter in the "Pink Pocket Guide".

There will also be news articles in newspapers and on the internet in the lead up to the festival and also quarter page
advertisements in Gay & Lesbian Newspaper Publications in Melbourne Featuring the Festival,
The North East Region and our Website.

As well as this we have advertisements and regular interview segments promoting the festival and a four month campagin on
Joy 94.9 FM Radio
(the only Gay & Lesbian radio station in Melbourne).

As well as promotion of the Festival through the local North East - Television, Radio and Print media.

We also market the festival worldwide by linking the hundreds of other organisations of the same kind.
As well as promoting the Festival at Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras and the Melbourne Midsumma festival and Pride March
(held in January (just gone) along with local newspaper articles and Television news stories. Before and after the event.
